Jenni “JWoww” Farley, 35, compared a no-makeup Instagram selfie to a heavily filtered version on Monday, and got real about the power of photo editing in the process.

“Laying here bored and saw this app… so I said ‘why not?’ …WTF. I’d rather be old and ugly,” she captioned the split pic.

The “Jersey Shore” star, who got engaged to Zack Carpinello in February, continued, “but seriously, don’t do this crap to your pics… love yourself.”

Several fans were quick to point out that Farley has had access to countless cosmetic treatments over the years, with many of her MTV co-stars opting for Botox.

One commented, “True love, but you have endless money for all the medspa and injections…Many of your followers don’t… It makes a difference in the #nofilter pics.”

“You are not wrong there,” Farley replied.

Another commenter mentioned that the filter “basically adds makeup,” seemingly producing the effect of lipstick, foundation and other beauty products.

“Made my face all baby smooth with a ring light glow,” the reality star wrote back.

Her co-star Vinny Guadagnino also chimed in with a thinking emoji, to which Farley replied, “lolllll sh.”

Not everyone was skeptical, however, and friends including Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino dropped heart-eyed emojis in the comments.

It’s not the first time Farley has gone filter-free; she’s posted barefaced selfies in the past to squash plastic surgery rumors.

Although she’s said she has “no objections” to cosmetic surgery, she explained in a 2016 interview with “Entertainment Tonight” that she’s hoping to avoid going under the knife for more invasive procedures.

“I’m not getting any younger. I’m going to do the noninvasive surgeries and things like that to stay youthful, so I don’t — when I’m like 50, 60, 70 — have to do the more dramatic ones,” she said at the time.

Farley’s far from the only celebrity to go sans makeup on social media: Stars including Heidi Klum, Megan Thee Stallion and Jennifer Lopez have all shown off their natural beauty recently.

Filtered selfies have also been making headlines, with fans mocking “RHOC” alum Jeana Keough for editing her selfie with Vicki Gunvalson in February.
