Two of the “Vanderpump Rules” babies are getting healthy doses of vitamin sea before they enter the world.
Expecting moms Brittany Cartwright and Lala Kent, who are former castmates on the reality show, went on a beach date together in Santa Monica, Calif., Monday alongside Cartwright’s husband, Jax Taylor.
They both proudly flaunted their baby bumps as Cartwright, 31, wore a black bathing suit top and rolled down black dress and Kent, 30, opted for a metallic bikini.
The two Bravo stars were also photographed wearing face masks when they entered the beach as a safety precaution amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Cartwright and Kent were smiling as they went for a dip in the ocean. Taylor, 41, also appeared joyful as he walked alongside his wife, wearing a sweatshirt and black pants.
This is the couple’s first child and, in September, they revealed they are expecting a boy. Cartwright is due in April 2021.
Cartwright and Taylor announced in December they were exiting the reality show to take “time to focus on our growing family.”
Meanwhile, Kent’s fiancé, producer Randall Emmett, did not appear to be in attendance at the outing.
The couple are expecting their first child together — a daughter — and Kent is also due in April. Emmett has two older daughters with ex-wife, Ambyr Childers.
In November, Taylor and Emmett, 49, talked about how their significant others sometimes feel self-conscious about their changing bodies amid their pregnancies.
“Their bodies are changing and they’re not used to that and they’re very insecure,” Taylor said. “They know they’re excited to be moms, but at the same time, they’re like, ‘Am I gonna get back into that bikini again?’ You know, that kind of stuff. And that’s the thing that I have to reassure her a lot and I love doing it.”
Emmett added, “I do go out of my way because I know right now how insecure she is, Lala, more than she ever was. She’s not a very insecure person, but we’re all insecure at times.”
Cartwright once fired back at critics of her baby bump on social media, writing, “All baby bumps at 16 weeks are different — and normal,” adding, “I’m going to enjoy my pregnancy no matter what the trolls say.”
