Jennifer Lawrence injured on the set of movie ‘Don’t Look Up’

Jennifer Lawrence was injured while shooting her new film “Don’t Look Up” when glass dramatically exploded on the set and hit the star in the face, multiple sources told Page Six. Production was halted for the day after the accident on Friday, sources said.

“An explosion was set up for a stunt in which glass shatters,” a source said. “It was a stunt in which the glass was supposed to shatter — but it injured her.”

We hear that Lawrence, 30, was hurt when the glass scarily hit her near the eye. But sources further told us that the mega-star is expected to be OK.

People on the set were shaken up by the mishap, sources added.

The movie, co-starring Leonardo DiCaprio, has been filming in Boston. Lawrence plays an astronomer who attempts to sound the alarm that Earth’s safety is being threatened by an approaching asteroid.

Lawrence, 30, has been nearly unrecognizable while filming the movie in Boston — and previously New York — in a flame-red wig as her character, Kate Dibiasky. In one recent scene, she was snapped wearing a Michigan State sweatshirt, while on the Manhattan set, she was in a more stylish trench coat.

The A-list cast also includes Cate Blanchett, Jonah Hill, Ariana Grande, Timothée Chalamet and Matthew Perry. The disaster comedy is directed by Adam McKay, whose credits include “The Big Short” and “Vice.”

Reps for Lawrence, Adam McKay and Netflix did not immediately comment.
