Shawn Johnson-East and husband Andrew announce she’s pregnant again

Shawn Johnson announced Friday that she is pregnant and expecting her second child with husband Andrew East.

“Here we go again @thefamilyeast #babyeast,” the 28-year-old Olympic gold medalist captioned a post on Instagram along with a photo showing off her growing belly as well as a family photo with their daughter Drew Hazel.

East, 29, also shared the exciting news, posting a video kissing his wife’s middle.

The couple also shared a YouTube video where the football player said he first suspected Johnson was pregnant when she wasn’t being very nice to him.

“Last time she was like this was when she was pregnant,” he said with a laugh.

They also explained that they immediately started trying for another baby soon after the birth of their first child. While she said it took a while to get pregnant then, East said it took about “two minutes” this time around.

They welcomed daughter Drew Hazel in November 2019, nearly a year and a half after suffering a miscarriage.

They are expecting their new baby in Summer 2021 and both believe they’re having a boy.

“If you are pregnant, trying to get pregnant, if you’re trying to adopt, if you’re in the process of expanding your family or recently suffering from a loss, we are praying for you,” Johnson said. “All those beautiful babies out there, all those rainbow babies, all those babies in heaven. We love you guys.”

Johnson and East got married in 2016.
