Maria Menounos clarifies that she’s not expecting a baby ‘yet’

Not so fast.

Maria Menounos clarified that she and Keven Undergaro are not currently expecting children despite saying on Tuesday she was eyeing a move to Nashville to accommodate a growing family.

“We are still in progress, not pregnant yet!” she told People on Thursday. “That’s the plan, and we will share good news when we can.”

The entertainment reporter, 42, announced that she and Undergaro, 53, were starting their journey to parenthood in December. She said that the prospect of having grandchildren was getting her mom, Litsa, through her battle with COVID-19 and a brain tumor.

“The thing I keep saying to my mom is, ‘We’re going to get better every minute of every day, Mom. Every minute of every day we’re getting better and better.’ … That’s my mantra,” she said on her “Better Together” show.

Menounos added, “Yesterday, I said to her, ‘You gotta get strong, you gotta hang on — you’ve got grandchildren coming, and they might even be showing up…’ well, they’re definitely showing up next year. I was gonna say around a certain time, but I won’t share yet because I don’t wanna — anyway!”
