How one Hollywood manager helped to ‘save Christmas’

Hollywood talent manager Steven Grossman — whose clients include NeNe Leakes and Jeannie Mai — launched “Operation Save Christmas” just before the holiday to purchase toys for kids in need while supporting local stores.

The drive aimed to raise $5,000 by Christmas Eve, and wound up bringing in $21,312, with support from stars including Mai and Jeezy, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Lacey Chabert, Kelly Osbourne, Adrienne Bailon and Israel Houghton, Kristen Stewart and others.

The plan’s been such a success that we hear Grossman and his holiday elves are aiming to continue it with a bigger push next year.

An insider said that Grossman hatched the plan when he’d “read how toy drives were down over 50-percent this year, with foster homes and shelters struggling more than ever. So, with a few days before Christmas, he called a few friends and threw together an impromptu toy drive … Operation Save Christmas was born.”
