Ariana Grande’s engagement ring from Dalton Gomez has heartwarming meaning

Ariana Grande’s family memories will last “forever n then some.”

On Sunday, the 27-year-old “Positions” singer announced her engagement to real estate agent Dalton Gomez with a series of sweet photos, including a close-up of her pearl and diamond engagement ring that appears to feature a heartwarming family heirloom.

Fans noticed that the pearl in Grande’s sparkler looks strikingly similar to one included in a ring the star received from her grandmother in 2014.

“Nonna had a ring made for me w/ the pearl from grandpa’s tie pin. She says he told her in a dream it’d protect me <3,” Grande tweeted at the time.

While the “7 rings” singer has yet to confirm the fan theory, it looks like the same pearl was later reset in her engagement ring from Gomez, 25.

As celebrity engagement rings go, Grande’s is truly jaw-dropping. Diamond experts previously told Page Six Style that the ring appears to feature a 5- or 6-carat oval diamond, putting it at a six-figure price tag.

If the fan theory is correct, both Grande and her grandmother would have a heartwarming family tribute on their hands. The pop star’s “nonna,” Marjorie Grande, joined her for a tattoo session in 2018 to get “Ciccio” (the Italian nickname for her late husband) tattooed on her finger.
