The ‘Jersey Shore’ cast quarantined with their significant others for new season

The “Jersey Shore” cast is used to living in a bubble with each other when they’re filming, but they added some familiar faces for the new season of “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.”

Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Paul “Pauly D” Delvecchio, Vinny Guadagnino, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Angelina Pivarnick, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Deena Nicole Cortese quarantined together at the Hilton Lake Las Vegas with their significant others while filming.

The cast recently told Page Six that they loved having their partners with them, with Pauly, 40, adding that it was “cool” for them to have this experience.

“I think that’s what’s one cool thing about our show was like, you get to see almost every aspect of it and the parts that you relate to it,” he explained. “Some people grew up with us, so they want to see what it’s like for us right now. What was it actually like in a pandemic? What’s our family like? What’s it like when you bring somebody else into the group? So we get to share that with everybody.”

Farley, 34, joked that DelVecchio became “a whole new human” in quarantine — he sported a new look, he’s on a better sleep schedule, he’s eating right and he even found love.

DelVecchio began dating Nikki Hall more seriously — and even moved in together — after wrapping Season 2 of his spin-off with Vinny Guadagnino, “Double Shot at Love.” They met while filming Season 1 of the series and reconciled during the show’s second season.

“Well, I said on the show that the only way to see if it would actually work is to give it a shot,” DelVecchio said during the show’s virtual reunion in October. “So we’re giving it a shot!”

Hall added at the time, “Quarantine helps a lot, because it’s a real test on a relationship when you’re in one place with somebody. I think most people would assume, ‘They’re toxic, they would never make it,’ but we’ve been doing great.”

Cortese, who is pregnant with her second child, told us she’s glad that fans can see what everyone’s relationship is like.

“A lot of fans even have said, like as we’re getting older, they want to see the other sides of us,” she said. “So you get to see that in this season and you get to see like the other side of our significant others because you usually see them for like a couple of minutes or like a couple seconds. So, like, their personalities really shine this season as well.”

Sorrentino noted, “For me, it was really good because my wife was with me like, you know, I don’t know if I could say the whole time, but you get to see a lot more of my wife and obviously Angelina’s husband and Deena’s husband and hence why the show is called ‘Jersey Shore: Family Vacation,’ because that’s where we are in our life.”

Season 4 of “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” premieres on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on MTV.
