Helena Bonham Carter dons a tiara and gown for ‘The Crown’ Season 4 premiere

Helena Bonham Carter’s style is fit for a queen.

While the cast of “The Crown” couldn’t celebrate their Season 4 premiere in person due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, that didn’t stop the 54-year-old actress and her co-stars from rolling out their own red carpets.

“If one cannot go to a premiere, the premiere must go to one (?). The Crown series 4 at-home premiere is underway,” Netflix UK tweeted on Thursday, sharing snaps of the dressed-up cast.

Bonham Carter, who plays Princess Margaret on the Netflix show, posed for photos at home in the same black lace Dolce & Gabbana dress she wore to the 2013 Golden Globes. She sparkled from head to toe, completing her ensemble with a glitzy crown and bejeweled platform heels.

Although there were no royal corgis in sight, the star’s two Tibetan terriers stood by her side.

Emma Corrin, who takes on the role of Princess Diana this season, got in on the virtual fun as well, dressing up in a blue plaid Miu Miu set.

“Having to do my own hair and makeup for the premiere at home was an interesting challenge for someone not that skilled in this department,” the 24-year-old actress told Vogue.

Other “The Crown” stars who posed in front of their own personal step-and-repeats included Olivia Colman (who plays Queen Elizabeth), Emerald Fennell (who portrays a young Camilla Parker-Bowles), Josh O’Connor (Prince Charles), and “Sex Education” star Gillian Anderson (Margaret Thatcher).

Anderson — whose partner is “The Crown” screenwriter Peter Morgan — donned a navy Dior dress, while O’Connor looked dapper in Loewe.

Season 4 of “The Crown” will start streaming on Netflix on November 15.
