Don’t rely on Jimmy Fallon to ask the hard-hitting questions.
After canceling various appearances this week as she deals with the fallout from her alleged hookup with married Dominic West, Lily James finally kept one.
The British actress, 31, appeared virtually on “The Tonight Show” Wednesday to promote her new Netflix movie, “Rebecca,” but Fallon didn’t mention West or any of the drama surrounding it.
Instead, as is typical of “The Tonight Show,” the two palled around discussing the rumors of a third “Mamma Mia!” film and her experience with ghosts.
James hasn’t commented publicly about her Rome trip with 51-year-old West, though the former “Affair” star and his wife, Catherine FitzGerald, posed for photos and said their marriage “is strong.”
FitzGerald since has flown to Ireland by herself for a “work trip.”
