Tracee Ellis Ross glitters in gold at Emmys 2020

2020 Emmys, meet your golden girl: Tracee Ellis Ross.
The “Black-ish” star — who was nominated for Best Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her role as Dr. Rainbow Johnson — rolled out her own mini red carpet to show off a ruffled, tiered golden gown by Alexander Vauthier Couture, styled with matching Jimmy Choo pumps and Tiffany jewels.
“How fun to get dressed up,” the star wrote on her Instagram to debut the look. “Can’t say I miss the frenetic energy of the red carpet or wearing high heels, but boy do I miss a pretty dress!”
Ross showed off the sparkling ensemble two ways: one where you could see her full makeup look — complete with a bold purple lip color — and another with a gilded fabric face mask.
Said her stylist Karla Welch on Instagram, “Obviously we made a mask to match! It’s a pandemic people!”
