In 2000, 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, was shot nine times while sitting in a car outside of his grandmother's house in Queens, N.Y. He was rushed to the hospital, where he was treated for gunshot wounds to his legs, hip, arm and face. The rapper, now 45, was released from the hospital just two weeks later.

In 2011, Charlie Sheen cleared up a longstanding rumor that he shot ex-girlfriend Kelly Preston in 1990. During an interview, he revealed that she accidentally shot herself when she lifted his pants off the floor and a gun fell out of the pocket, getting hit with "shrapnel from the toilet bowl," he explained. Preston, who died after battling breast cancer last month, backed up Sheen's story.

Tupac Shakur was shot multiple times in 1994 as he entered a recording studio in New York. He was hit in the head, groin and hand, but went on to make a full recovery. In 1996, "Step By Step" actor Brandon Call was shot in both arms after a traffic dispute. He was able to drive himself to the police station after the incident where he was treated and taken to a hospital. The man responsible was later convicted of attempted premeditated murder.
