Prince Harry and Meghan Markle offer peek at Montecito mansion on webcam call

No buyer’s remorse here!

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have officially moved into their lavish new Montecito digs, offering curious fans a peek at their home while on a webcam call with youth-oriented British charity the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust.

As acting president and vice-president of the QCT, Harry, 35, and Markle, 39, discussed passing the baton to a younger generation of leaders. (Perhaps more importantly, they’re apparently far enough in the move-in process to have hung plants.)

“I think everything my grandmother wanted to achieve when she took this huge responsibility on, she’s managed,” Harry said to the QCT group. “No one could have predicted how the world was going to change in such a short space of time, especially with the digital space. Hearing you guys, and knowing the broad spectrum that QCT engulfs, you’re the definition of the 21st century Commonwealth, and what it means to be part of it. You are there, standing for equality, for mutual respect and for fairness.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex paid $14,650,000 for the 18,000-square-foot Mediterranean-style home, which features rose gardens, century-old olive trees, a tennis court, a tea house, children’s cottage and a pool. It also comes complete with a two-bed guest house, perfect for Markle’s mom, Doria.

Their new upscale California community is also home to friends like Oprah Winfrey and Ellen DeGeneres.

They moved to Santa Barbara last month after spending lockdown in Tyler Perry’s $17 million Beverly Hills mansion.
