Exclusive East Harlem eatery Rao’s began offering takeout in July, but we hear the only way to have food from the red sauce mecca at a recent Hamptons party was to have proof of a negative COVID test.
Rao’s just catered a bash with strict rules for attendees. Actress Renée Willett arranged a tasting menu from the restaurant at her Water Mill home, where guests were “required to present COVID tests upon entry,” said a source.
“It must have been taken within four days of the event. No home tests were accepted.”
Andrew Warren, Aaron Bronfman, Bravo star Elyse Slaine and Emory Stewart attended with their results in hand.
