Producer Hitmaka addresses reports he pistol-whipped girlfriend

Producer Hitmaka — formerly known as rapper and reality star Yung Berg — is speaking up following reports claiming he pistol-whipped a woman believed to be his girlfriend.

In a lengthy Instagram post, the former “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” star, 34, claims the woman in question — Talia Tilley — was never his girlfriend, and in fact, attempted to have him robbed in a home invasion. The beatsmith also posted surveillance footage of what appears to be intruders on his property.

“I could’ve been murdered inside my home on Saturday & I would like to take this time & thank all of my family, friends, & colleagues who have reached out regarding the matter sending love and positive energy,” the musician posted Tuesday. “This footage is very alarming to all my fellow people in music & living in los angles area pls be safe and monitor who you allow in your home.

“I made a crucial mistake which could’ve costed my life THIS WOMAN WAS NOT MY GF EVER,” he continued. “I won’t dive further into this & will let my lawyers move forward accordingly. Pls stay safe amidst these tragic times not only for myself but the entire world.”

Hitmaka — born Christian Ward — also posted a statement from his attorney detailing what he claims transpired the night in question. According to the document, while spending the night with him, Tilley first attempted to convince Ward to go outside to his hot tub in “50 degree weather,” which he refused. After “some physical intimacy,” she then began a “calculated, unprovoked attack on Mr. Ward, slapping and punching him repeatedly.”

While the doc does not mention pistol-whipping, it confirms “Mr. Ward defended himself against this attack.”

As they were fighting, his home security system was triggered by three men attempting to break into his backdoor. After all the commotion, he discovered that Tilley had been in contact with an unknown person and shared his address with the stranger.

Before news of the home invasion, Hitmaka was excited to share his new collaboration with Tamar Braxton, writing on Instagram Friday, “@tamarbraxton Got Some Of The Best Fans Ever! They Been In My DM’s On All Socials Going Crazy On Me So Here You Guys Go!!! NEW SINGLE MARCH 20TH!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Thank You Tamar & Manny WE GOIN #1 BIGGGG TUH!”
