See the engagement ring ‘Bachelor’ Peter Weber gave ex-fiancée Hannah Ann Sluss

Even Neil Lane thought that Peter Weber’s “Bachelor” finale was surprising.

The jeweler, who creates deluxe diamond engagement rings for the ABC dating show, told People that he thought Weber’s proposal to Hannah Ann Sluss would stick after frontrunner Madison Prewett left over religious and lifestyle differences.

“When we were in Australia for the finale, Peter was so excited to pick out an engagement ring and from everything he said to me, he had found the girl he loved and wanted to be with forever,” Lane said.

Weber, 28, chose a 3.27-carat diamond ring with a pear-shaped center stone surrounded by 99 brilliant-cut stones for Sluss, 23.

“After Peter picked it out, he was really happy,” Lane added. “He even kissed it and hugged me!”

However, the euphoria didn’t last long. Just one month into their engagement, Weber brought a film crew to a private weekend with Sluss so that he could break off the relationship, and she left him with the engagement ring.

On Tuesday night’s finale, Weber rekindled his relationship with Prewett, 23, to the dismay of his parents. During the “After the Final Rose” special, the couple confirmed that they are dating.

Perhaps a different Neil Lane sparkler is in her future.

Neil Lane designed this pear-shaped diamond engagement ring, set in platinum and surrounded by brilliant-cut stones, for "Bachelor" Peter Weber. He proposed to Hannah Ann Sluss, but she returned the sparkler when Weber chose to pursue a relationship with Madison Prewett instead.
