What a way to meat the band.
Haim announced that they would be touring different delis across the country in honor of their new album, “Women in Music Pt. III,” and they were inspired by their very first gig.
“Our first show ever was at canters deli in 2000 so we decided we want to play shows at different delis across America to celebrate our new record,” the band wrote on social media on Monday. “We’ve never done anything like this before so let’s all get together and eat some matzo ball soup and we’ll play you some songs live. Maybe some new ones??”
Over the weekend, sisters Este, Danielle, and Alana Haim hinted at their Haim Deli Tour by posting a photo to Instagram posing in front of Canter’s, a landmark deli in LA.
The band will hit delis in New York City, Washington, DC, Chicago, Denver, and LA.
The delicatessens have yet to be announced but the first show will take place in a New York City deli on Tuesday.
