What’s next for Harvey Weinstein after Manhattan rape conviction
Harvey Weinstein‘s Manhattan rape conviction just paved the way for more trouble for him.
Los Angeles authorities were waiting for Weinstein’s Manhattan case to play out before moving ahead with their own felony sex case against him.
Since the Manhattan case culminated Monday with Weinstein’s conviction on rape and sexual-assault charges, LA officials say they will now proceed with theirs.
“We are definitely proceeding,” Los Angeles Deputy District Attorney Paul Thompson told The Post after the proceeding.
Weinstein, 67, has not yet entered a plea in the LA charges.
The disgraced producer had been charged in California in January with forcible rape, forcible oral copulation, sexual penetration by use of force and sexual battery by restraint, stemming from two separate incidents over two days in 2013.
He’ll be cooling his heels in a Manhattan jail until his sentencing March 11, after which he is expected to be extradited to Los Angeles for those cases.

Page Six has learned that both of Michael Lohan’s long-suffering ex-wives are living together.
Sources tell us that — amid the latest round of arrests — Kate Major and Dina Lohan are holed up in a makeshift anti-Mike commune in what was once simply Dina’s house in Merrick, LI.
Oh, and kinda confirming the tip, when Page Six called Kate for comment on a recent story, an exhausted-sounding Dina seized the phone and gave us a lengthy diatribe about how she’s “being a mother” and protecting Kate. “I’ve been through it all before,” she said, apparently referring to the miscellaneous rigors of being Mrs. Michael Lohan — before somewhat confusingly telling one Page Six reporter, “I love you.”
Steven Spielberg is ‘concerned’ for porn-star daughter
This week brought a Steven Spielberg blockbuster no one saw coming.
On Wednesday, the director’s daughter Mikaela announced to the world that she is embarking on a film career of her own — as a porn star.
The 23-year-old told the Sun about making solo sex videos that she posted on PornHub.com and how she is working to get licensed to become an exotic dancer in Nashville.
The self-proclaimed “sexual creature” said she “got really tired of not being able to capitalize on my body.”
She’s now launched an account on the OnlyFans app, on which viewers can pay a $15 monthly subscription fee to watch her.
Despite this, Mikaela said that her parents, Steven and his wife of 29 years, actress Kate Capshaw, are “not upset” and are even “intrigued” by her life choices. A Spielberg source told The Post, “As Mikaela said, Steven and Kate are nothing but supportive of her, as they are with all their children.”
But, according to a friend of the family, there’s more to it.
“Outwardly, Steven and Kate — who are the most evolved parents in the world and love their kids beyond all measure — have always been supportive of Mikaela and try to understand her,” said the family friend. “Obviously, though, they’re embarrassed by her sudden public admission of entry into the sex worker world.”
