Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and his girlfriend Lauren Sanchez have, after months of only being snapped at places like Wimbledon and on various yachts, finally made their red carpet debut as a couple.
The pair were snapped in Mumbai, India, for an Amazon Prime event. It’s Bezos’ first trip to India in over five years, according to the New York Times, and he was duly greeted by a formal investigation by The Competition Commission of India, the country’s antitrust regulator, which is taking a closer look at Amazon and Flipkart, an Indian e-commerce site largely controlled by Walmart.
But you’d be hard-pressed to guess that from the couple’s snappy outfits in Mumbai, the heart of Bollywood. Bezos, 56, wore a wildly patterned black-and-white tuxedo jacket, while Sanchez, 50, elected for a sexy low-cut red-and-black dress in a complementary — or opposing, depending on how far you got into that Art History major — pattern with a plunging neckline and thigh-high split.
It’s been just over a year since the couple’s scandalous relationship leaked to the world. Sanchez was recently spotted wearing a massive diamond ring (albeit on her right hand) while on vacation with Bezos.
