Video catches Ken Todd trying to get publicity after car crashes into Pump

Lisa Vanderpump‘s husband, Ken Todd, was overheard with some not-so-smashing words about the car crash that happened over the weekend at their restaurant Pump.

Todd, 74, was caught saying, “We want to get as much publicity out of this,” but a rep for the restaurateur insisted the quote was taken out of context.

“His full statement was, ‘I want to get as much publicity out of this that by the grace of God nobody was severely injured!’” the rep told Page Six on Tuesday.

Page Six previously reported that a Ferrari “slammed through” the patio of the Los Angeles eatery just after 2 p.m. Sunday.

One woman was taken to the hospital for cuts, with Vanderpump’s rep telling us at the time, “We are very lucky that everyone else was uninjured and safe while dining during Sunday brunch.”

The restaurant has been carrying on with business as usual in its garden and indoor sections while it repairs the damaged glass wall.

Vanderpump, 59, later made light of the situation on Twitter, telling fans, “No. We are not a Drive-Thru. Thank God no one was hurt.”

“Vanderpump Rules” returns for Season 8 Tuesday night on Bravo.
