Dave Grohl’s daughter sings with surviving members of Nirvana

Dave Grohl’s daughter stopped the show at one of the biggest pre-Golden Globes events.

The surviving members of Nirvana reunited at the Art of Elysium Gala Saturday — and 13-year-old Violet Grohl sang late frontman Kurt Cobain’s lyrics on “Heart-Shaped Box.” For the rest of the five-song set — with Grohl on drums and Krist Novoselic on bass — Beck sang “In Bloom,” “Been a Son” and “The Man Who Sold the World,” while St. Vincent did the vocals on “Lithium.”

They were joined by Pat Smear, who was Nirvana’s touring guitarist in ’93 and ’94 and appeared on “Unplugged.”

While the set enraptured the audience (except Bella Hadid, who appeared to head for the door after the first song), among those most excited was Grohl himself. Curator Kerry Brown said he’d thanked Grohl for taking part, and the rock god told him, “Are you f- - king kidding? I get to play drums tonight.”

Meanwhile, we spotted Jack Black head banging and Billy Idol playing what appeared to be an air lute.

Also there: Topher Grace and wife Ashley Hinshaw, James Marsden, Ali Larter, Audrina Patridge and Mick Rock.
