Tom Hanks’ family, including sober son Chet, attends Golden Globes 2020

Tom Hanks‘ entire family was on hand at the 2020 Golden Globes to support the “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood” star.

Hanks’ wife, Rita Wilson, as well as all of his children — Colin, Truman, Chet and Elizabeth — attended the show Sunday night because the 63-year-old actor is being presented with the coveted Cecil B. DeMille Award.

Chet, 29, was in the public eye as he struggled with drug addiction for years. He previously said the birth of his daughter was the ultimate catalyst for getting clean and sober. Chet, who previously went by the moniker Chet Haze, welcomed daughter Michaiah in April 2016.

“There’s a part of you that knows that you need to make a change but you can’t really shut that door on your life and just move on to a new chapter,” he told “Entertainment Tonight” in 2018. “For me, it took something drastic happening, like becoming a father, for me to make that change.”

The earlier portion of the evening proved dramatic for Wilson, as she blasted her Golden Globes hair and makeup stylist for failing to arrive on time.

“What you look like when your hair and makeup person for the @goldenglobes is one and a half hours late even though you booked him in September,” she captioned the pic. “Will leave one hour to do hair and makeup.”
