Bravo honcho Andy Cohen has a packed New Year’s Eve planned. We hear that after hosting CNN’s Times Square show with his pal Anderson Cooper, Cohen will be hosting some famous friends at Tao Uptown for a bash flowing with Freixenet Cava sparkling wine.
Over at the Marriott Marquis near Times Square, Matthew Gavin will hold a bash featuring ’80s singer Tiffany. Poison frontman Bret Michaels is set to ring in 2020 by giving a concert at midnight.
Downtown, rock fans can see a performance by David Johansen of the New York Dolls at a party hosted by names including photographer Mick Rock and Liz Vap at the Roxy Hotel.
And in The Bronx, Grammy-nominated DJs Above & Beyond will headline a show for 10,000 revelers at New York Expo Center. “Real Housewives” favorite Omar Hernandez will hold a fête at his brand-new downtown spot Omar’s and La Boîte, and Francesco Belcaro will hold a black-tie event at Armani Ristorante on Fifth Avenue.
Out West, Miley Cyrus’ boyfriend Cody Simpson will perform at the Snow Lodge, the Aspen, Colo., outpost of the ultrapopular Montauk hot spot Surf Lodge.
