Vicki Gunvalson will never return to ‘RHOC’ in a friend role again

Vicki Gunvalson will never come back to “RHOC” without an orange.

“I’m never coming back reduced again,” Gunvalson said at BravoCon to a cheering crowd while sitting on a panel with Kyle Richards, Teresa Giudice and Luann de Lesseps.

The once-full-time cast member said she “signed the reduced role contract in January” for “The Real Housewives of Orange County” and it was “one of the hardest things [she’s] ever done.”

Rumors began circulating last spring that Gunvalson, 57, would not be a full-time “Housewife” after being one of the first ladies featured on the franchise when it began in 2006. It was confirmed with the Season 14 trailer in July that she would not hold a coveted orange. The 14th season is currently airing.

Still, Gunvalson later told Page Six that just because she would come back in a full-time role doesn’t mean that she actually will for the show’s upcoming 15th season.

“I have no idea,” she confessed. “I have no idea what’s going to happen next year.”

But, if she had to give herself a tagline for Season 14, she knew what she would go with.

She laughed, “My crown is tilted!”
