‘Queer Eye’ star Bobby Berk has the best ideas for unique holiday gifts

Many “Queer Eye” super-fans consider design expert Bobby Berk to be the hardest working Fab Five member, and for good reason: In each and every episode, he pulls off stunning top-to-bottom home transformations in just a few days’ time, providing each “hero” with an entirely renovated and redecorated abode.
So it’s no surprise that Berk, 38, never cuts corners when it comes to holiday gifting, opting for presents that feel truly unique.
“I recently stumbled into I&You Ceramics and fell in love with their work,” the star told Page Six Style. “I’ve already ordered a handful of the brand’s round handle mugs (€30 each, or about $33) in different colors for last-minute gifts. Grab a bag of coffee or a box of tea to go with it and it feels a bit more personal.”

And while candles are always an easy present, why not up the ante with a matching accessory? “I also love stocking up Supplied West’s natural leather lighter covers ($30) for last-minute gifts,” Berk said. “They are pretty enough to leave out all the time to light your candle with and are perfect to pair with a candle, incense or palo santo.”
Speaking of gifts that smell good, the interiors expert said you can’t go wrong with “anything from Aesop or Le Labo. They have such quality scents and their packaging is something that always feels special when someone opens it.” (His personal favorite fragrance from the latter? The J.Lo-approved Santal.)

Berk’s also a fan of Sandoval‘s home fragrances — specifically the “Spirit” scent ($40), which blends sandalwood, sweet buddha wood, Siberian fir needle essential oil and amber, along with “crystals that have been charged under the full moon with grounding and centering intentions,” according to the product description. “It can be sprayed on clothes, sheets or anywhere else in the home, and it’s something that anyone will love,” he told us.

And while his family and closest friends can count on unwrapping a piece from Berk’s furniture collection this season — “hopefully it fits down the chimney and under the tree,” he joked — the gift he’s hoping to receive in return is far simpler: time away with his husband, Dewey.
“We’ve always celebrated the holidays together by getting out of town, traveling somewhere and just spending time together,” Berk said.
As for the greatest present the design whiz has ever gotten? “The very first bike that I got from my mom as a kid,” he shared.
“Waking up to that on Christmas morning as a child was probably like one would feel waking up to winning the lottery as an adult. Cue: insanity, pure joy, and running out of the house to tell and show everyone within screaming distance. I honestly have never used anything in my life more than that bike.”
