Kristen Stewart swapped her heels for sneakers on the ‘Charlie’s Angels’ red carpet

Kristen Stewart is not letting a fancy red carpet stand in the way of her comfort.

The 29-year-old actress arrived at the London premiere of “Charlie’s Angels” on Wednesday dressed to the nines in a glittering strapless Thom Browne gown in a navy and silver buffalo check.

Stewart accessorized with her usual smattering of silver chain necklaces and black Chloe Gosselin “Tori” sandals ($1,025), which boast a staggering 4.25-inch heel.

So understandably, it didn’t take long before the BAFTA winner ditched her ankle-breaking footwear in favor of something far more comfortable: a pair of black and white Nike Cortez sneakers ($75).

After taking selfies with fans and signing autographs, Stewart threw on an Acne Studios “Merlyn” black shearling and leather motorcycle jacket ($1,850) and stepped out of her high-heeled sandals, allowing her stylist Tara Swennen to lace her feet into some fresh kicks.

This is hardly the first time the “Twilight” star has broken black-tie tradition. She famously flouted the rules at the Cannes Film Festival by kicking off her Louboutins and walking the red carpet barefoot.
