The 50-year-old pop icon was announced on Tuesday as the new global face of Coach. She’ll star in the brand’s spring 2020 leather goods, ready-to-wear and footwear campaigns, which will be shot by famed fashion photographer Juergen Teller.

“I’m so excited for this collaboration with Coach,” the “Medicine” singer said in a press release announcing the partnership. “It is a timeless brand that I’ve always been a fan of and the upcoming collection really speaks to my personal style — an uptown downtown mix.”

In the same release, Coach’s creative director Stuart Vevers called the collaboration a natural one. “Jennifer is so authentic. She’s determined and she’s an original who has followed her own path to do things her own way,” he explained. “She really embodies the attitude of Coach and our new campaign.”

This marks somewhat of a full-circle moment for Lopez, who famously carried armfuls of Coach logo bags in her 2002 music video for “All I Have.”

The fashion house has previously teamed up with celebs like Selena Gomez, Michael B. Jordan and Megan Thee Stallion on its campaigns.
