Luann de Lesseps closes out BravoCon after delayed start

Chic c’est la vie.

Luann de Lesseps closed out the first-ever BravoCon on Sunday with her “Countess & Friends” cabaret show but had to answer to an aggravated fan about why the performance started an hour late.

Taking the stage at Hammerstein Ballroom, de Lesseps, 54, explained she thought the show was slated to begin at 9 p.m. and not 8:30 p.m. Regardless, she kicked off the festivities at 9:30 p.m. to a crowd of excited Bravolebrities, including “Below Deck” fixture Kate Chastain and “Real Housewives of Dallas” stars LeeAnne Locken and D’Andra Simmons, who sat front-row with “Princesses: Long Island” alum Chanel Omari.

Ally Shapiro, Jill Zarin’s daughter, was also in attendance, in addition to “Juicy Scoop” podcast host Heather McDonald, who told the audience prior to showtime that BravoCon is “Disneyland for 40-year-old women.” Andy Cohen’s assistant, Daryn Carp, also warmed up the crowd.

As for de Lesseps, who performed her beloved songs “Girl Code” and “Money Can’t Buy You Class,” she got the audience involved in her set. Playing the game “Cool or Uncool,” the crowd gave their opinions on “Vanderpump Rules” star Jax Taylor and former “Real Housewives of New York” staples, Simon van Kempen and Carole Radziwill, among others.
