Who needs all those expensive agents and casting directors when you’ve got Twitter?
Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman told us that she bagged a part in the “Charlie’s Angels” remake after its director, Elizabeth Banks, sent her a message over the app.
“She direct messaged me on Twitter and asked me to be in the movie, and obviously I said yes,” Raisman told us at the Time 100 Next event at Pier 17. “But it was so last minute,” Raisman added. “She asked me to come to LA to do a cameo. I dropped everything so I could be there. It was my first acting ever.”
The three-time Olympic gold medalist was honored at the event.
