Gwen Stefani may not be saying “I do” to Blake Shelton just yet, but her 2019 People’s Choice Awards outfit suggested otherwise.

The 50-year-old pop star attended Sunday’s award show at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif., wearing a rather wedding-inspired ensemble.

The “Hollaback Girl” singer, who accepted the evening’s Fashion Icon award, arrived in a custom Vera Wang gown inspired by a look from the brand’s fall 2020 bridal collection: a high-low ivory silk faille dress with a bow at the back and the words “FASHION ICON” embroidered down the side of the skirt in Old English font.

Stefani paired the gown with black Capezio fishnet tights ($20), suede Casadei thigh-high boots ($1,270), opera gloves and a huge diamond ring on her left-hand ring finger.

But despite the implications of her jewelry placement and dress choice, the Grammy winner insisted in an interview with E! News’ Jason Kennedy, “It might be a real ring, a real diamond, but it’s not a wedding ring. No, no, it actually doesn’t fit over the glove on this hand so I put it on this hand. But good, right?”

Added Stefani, “When I have something to say, I’ll say it.”
