Meghan Markle once again shopped her own closet for her latest royal appearance, picking a style she previously wore while pregnant with baby Archie.
The Duchess of Sussex, 38, attended the opening ceremony for the One Young World Summit at Royal Albert Hall in London on Tuesday, where she glowed in a vibrant violet Aritzia Babaton “Maxwell” dress that originally retailed for $138, but was recently marked down to just $49.99 before selling out. (A similar short-sleeved style in the same shade is still available for $59.99.)
Markle debuted the purple midi-length sheath back in January when she was around six months pregnant, layering it with an equally bold red Sentaler wrap coat for an official visit to Birkenhead with Prince Harry.
This time around, she went with navy suede pumps and long, loose waves for a more formal feel.
The duchess’ involvement with One Young World, an organization that aims to empower young leaders, predates her induction into the royal family. She served as a Counsellor at the 2014 summit in Dublin, where she gave a speech about women’s rights and gender bias, and also attended the 2016 event in Ottawa.
