Miley Cyrus spotted kissing Cody Simpson after Kaitlynn Carter split

Miley Cyrus is wasting no time moving on from Liam Hemsworth and Kaitlynn Carter.

Cyrus was spotted kissing Australian musician Cody Simpson while out at Backyard Bowls eatery in Los Angeles on Thursday, according to a video obtained by TMZ. The smooch session comes after Cyrus split from Carter in September after a brief romance, following her separation from Hemsworth.

The 26-year-old pop star and 22-year-old Simpson have been friends for years, though it seems they’ve decided to kick their relationship up a notch.

“Can a girl not get a f—ing açaí bowl and a morning make out session in peace ?!?!” Cyrus later wrote on her Instagram. 

Simpson, who is not related to singers Jessica and Ashlee Simpson, previously dated model Gigi Hadid for two years before she got together with now-ex Zayn Malik.

Meanwhile, Cyrus is going through divorce proceedings with Hemsworth after less than one year of marriage.

Cyrus and Simpson were rumored to be dating in 2014, though Simpson maintained they were just friends.
