Moschino‘s spring 2020 fashion show was nothing if not noteworthy.
Jeremy Scott‘s new Picasso-inspired designs for the Italian luxury label debuted on the runway on Thursday during Milan Fashion Week, with mega-models Kaia Gerber, Bella Hadid and Irina Shayk dressed up as the iconic artist’s paintings of musical instruments.
Cindy Crawford’s 18-year-old daughter strutted the catwalk looking like a larger-than-life cubist guitar, while Hadid, 22, cradled a more realistic-sized version while wearing a pink and blue Harlequin-inspired jumpsuit that wouldn’t have been out of place on a Picasso canvas.
Shayk, 33, played the strings, dressed like a violin in a yellow bodysuit with a bold black sash and matching elbow-length gloves; she even carried some makeshift sheet music in her hand as she made her way down the runway.
