‘Downton Abbey’ celebrates posh premiere at The Plaza

The “Downton Abbey” cast celebrated the premiere of its new movie in the most unsurprising way ever — a lavish soirée at The Plaza Hotel fit for the Crawley family.

A small orchestra played various tunes at the Monday night event, including the show’s classic music theme, as well as Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep.”

Well-heeled guests and cast members, including Michelle Dockery, Hugh Bonneville and creator Julian Fellowes, dined on tea sandwiches and an oyster bar.

“The Good Fight” star Christine Baranski was spotted on the second level getting a drink at the bar and watching people mingle from the balcony.

Allen Leech, Sophie McShera, Kevin Doyle, Penelope Wilton and “Downton” chef Lesley Nicol, who told Page Six she’s taking vegan cooking lessons in Los Angeles, were all in attendance.

The only thing missing from the whole night was the Dowager Countess of Grantham herself, Dame Maggie Smith.
