Demi Moore blamed herself for miscarriage of baby with Ashton Kutcher

In her candid forthcoming memoir “Inside Out,” Demi Moore opens up about losing a pregnancy with ex Ashton Kutcher and saying she blamed herself because she was drinking.

According to the New York Times, the 56-year-old actress revealed in the book that she suffered a miscarriage six months into her pregnancy in the early 2000s, before she and Kutcher got married. At the time, the couple had already decided the baby girl would be named Chaplin Ray.

According to the Times, Moore, now 56, “had started drinking again and blamed herself for the loss.” She and Kutcher tried to conceive again through fertility treatments, but her drinking only got worse and she began abusing Vicodin, too.

Moore told the publication she is now sober.

In the book, the “Ghost” star also accuses Kutcher, who is 15 years her junior, of cheating on her before their separation in 2011. That year, Page Six covered the reports claiming Kutcher had an affair with a 22-year-old blonde on Sept. 24, the night of his sixth wedding anniversary with Moore.

When the couple first began dating in 2003, Moore reportedly saw the relationship as “a do-over,” adding in her memoir, “like I could just go back in time and experience what it was like to be young, with him — much more so than I’d ever been able to experience it when I was actually in my twenties.”

The couple divorced in 2013. Kutcher is now married to his “That ’70s Show” co-star Mila Kunis, and they have a 4-year-old daughter, Wyatt, and 2-year-old son, Dimitri.

A rep for Kutcher did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

Moore makes several other explosive revelations in the book, saying she was raped at 15 and once suffered a seizure after smoking synthetic cannabis and inhaling nitrous oxide at a party with daughter Rumer Willis. Rumer, 31, is the eldest of three daughters Moore shares with ex-husband Bruce Willis, along with Scout, 28, and Tallulah, 25.

Moore revealed that in addition to her addiction issues, she experienced autoimmune and digestive problems following her split with Kutcher.

“Something was going on, including my organs slowly shutting down,” she said, according to the Times.

The Hollywood star went to a rehab program for trauma, co-dependency and substance abuse and worked with a doctor on her medical issues. After fixing her relationship with her daughters, she began writing her memoir two years ago.
