Pushy bride at US Open begs Vera Wang to make her wedding gown

One bride(zilla) took fandom to a whole new level when she spotted wedding gown-designer-to-the-stars Vera Wang at the US Open.

A source tells us the starstruck woman made a beeline for Wang, 70, as soon as she noticed the fashion icon in a neighboring VIP suite at Thursday’s semifinal match between Serena Williams and Elina Svitolina.

We’re told the fan was “desperate to persuade Vera to design a custom bridal gown” and even brought her mother in as a reinforcement to “schmooze her.”

After Wang — who was “very polite” — spoke to the bride to be for upward of half an hour, she managed to “sneak away” into the Grey Goose suite for some cocktails, the source said.

Strangely, we’re told the woman wasn’t even wearing an engagement ring — but she did have a glass of rosé in her hand.

Wang has created gowns for stars including Alicia Keys, Chelsea Clinton and Kim Kardashian when she married Kris Humphries in 2011 before infamously filing for divorce just 72 days later.

Wang has also designed non-bridal looks worn by Williams, who won Thursday’s match and will play Bianca Andreescu in the women’s final on Saturday.
