Sasha Obama is starting college at University of Michigan this fall

Sasha Obama is embarking on her college career.

The youngest daughter of former President Barack Obama will start classes at the University of Michigan next Tuesday, The Detroit News reported.

The former first daughter, whose real name is Natasha, was spotted attending freshman orientation at the Ann Arbor school this week, trailed by men believed to be Secret Service agents.

“I was walking by pushing a vacuum and she walked out right in front of me,” said Zach Lassen, a third-year film student. “I said, ‘Excuse me.’ It was a crowded hallway with her and some Secret Service dudes.”

The university declined to confirm Sasha’s enrollment in a statement to the paper, citing its policy prohibiting such disclosures regarding students. A spokeswoman for her mom, Michelle Obama, also declined to comment.

But at least one other Class of 2023 enrollee saw the 18-year-old this week near the university’s undergraduate library and said she’s just “a normal student to me.”

Rumors that the youngest Obama was joining the Big Ten school — instead of following in her family’s Ivy League footsteps — began swirling last year over an Instagram post, purportedly from her private account.

The post was captioned “So proud to say I’m going to college with my sisters!!” and tagged the university, where out-of-state tuition is more than $49,000.

Sasha’s dad attended Columbia University while her mom attended Princeton University. Both then went to law school at Harvard University.

Sasha’s older sister, Malia Obama, enrolled at Harvard in 2017 after taking a gap year.

The entire family was in Washington, DC, in June to cheer Sasha on as she graduated from the exclusive Sidwell Friends School.
