David Beckham makes fun of Victoria Beckham’s $2,735 boating outfit

The Beckhams are so into fashion, they use each other’s wardrobe choices as ammo for spousal banter.

David, Victoria and their four children are currently on vacation in the French Riviera aboard Elton John‘s yacht, and they’ve been sharing cute family photos and videos from their time on the water. The couple also used some of their downtime at sea to give each other honest outfit critiques.

The former soccer player, 44, lovingly mocked his 45-year-old wife’s swanky boating attire, sharing a photo of her on his Stories wearing a $2,335 white racer front long cami dress with a $400 gold bottle necklace  — both from her own fashion brand.

“I mean come on really,” David wrote with a rolling eyes emoji. “Boat wear @victoriabeckham style.”

Later that day, the former Spice Girl saw her chance to subtly pay back her husband for his social media wardrobe critique, posting a photo of him asleep wearing a $1,395 baroque-print Versace silk shirt that happens to closely match the pillowcases behind him. “Kisses @donatella_versace x,” Victoria wrote over the sneaky shot.

While the two obviously have very different opinions on appropriate yacht dressing, one thing they can agree on is the luxury price tag.
