Bam Margera is making another go at sobriety.
The troubled star, 39, was seen at an LA bar drinking beer Wednesday, per TMZ, but he’s checking back into rehab — his third attempt at treatment this month.
The outlet claims Bam exited his most recent attempt at rehab because the facility wanted him to surrender his cellphone.
The “Viva la Bam” star has said previously that he feels the need to keep in touch with his son for his own mental health.
“I don’t do well with not being allowed to Facetime my wife and kid … I don’t do well with not being able to answer important calls with important people,” he wrote on Instagram in January, detailing his attempt at sobriety at that time.
Last week, Margera was arrested at LA’s Luxe Hotel after refusing to leave the premises. He’d shown up there after leaving the rehab facility that he entered after meeting with Dr. Phil and refused to leave; a security guard made a citizen’s arrest and detained Margera until police arrived.
“He’s having sort of a breakdown, we think,” Margera’s father, Phil, told Page Six early this month.
