‘RHOC’ star Shannon Beador lost 40 pounds after divorce

Shannon Beador is heading into the upcoming season of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” down one husband and 40 pounds of weight.

“Ladies and gentlemen, introducing the new Shannon Storms Beador! I’ve lost 40 pounds, and I’ve gained a lot of fun. Fun Shannon, bam, is back,” Beador, 55, revealed in a new “RHOC” clip of her at the gym with her daughters Sophie, 18, and twins Adeline and Stella, 15.

“I’m proud of myself, darn it!” she continued in a confessional. “It was two years of hell.”

Beador finalized her divorce from David Beador in April. She was awarded $1.4 million and $10,000 a month in support from the construction company owner.

She filed for divorce in 2017 after 17 years of marriage and a cheating scandal. During that time, Beador put on weight and her journey to lose it was part of her storyline on “RHOC.”

“The hardest work was changing the insides, getting to the mental place where I know I’m gonna be okay and then the weight was just, kinda, a lot easier,” she said in the clip. “At a certain point, it just started coming off.”

It seems that her divorce will also be a storyline on the upcoming season, as the cast was spotted filming a joint divorce/engagement party for her and co-star Vicki Gunvalson in May.
