Spiritual teacher Biet Simkin says you can reach nirvana while shopping — or having sex.
“When I was told to just sit there [in traditional meditation classes], I wanted to kill people,” Simkin said during a brunch event for her book “Don’t Just Sit There!” at Surf Lodge in Montauk. “It wasn’t my bag. I want to shop, have sex, make lots of money, travel the world . . . You can find enlightenment while shopping at Barneys. You can do it while you’re f - - king someone and the f - - king is good.”
