Candace Bushnell, Kelly Bensimon both think there’s less sex in the city these days

Author Candace Bushnell toasted her new book, “Is There Still Sex in the City?,” in the Hamptons Saturday, telling us, “It’s less.”

After speaking with young women, Bushnell says, “I think there’s not a lot of romance. Partly because of the Internet, everybody is in their own little phone bubble. People are more involved in their phones than they are with each other. Let’s face it, that’s a romance killer.”

“Real Housewives of New York City” star Kelly Bensimon agrees, telling us she thinks “a lot of millennials are choosing not to have sex.” She adds, “I think maybe they’re on to something that it’s better to abstain and find the right person rather than have sex with anyone.”

Fellow “Housewife” Luann de Lesseps, who says she’s too busy “dating myself” but is “open to dating,” is more optimistic. “I think there is still sex in the city,” she told Page Six. “I think it’s about the attitude that you give off. If you’re feeling sexy, you’ll give off sexy, so get your sexy on.”

Others at the bash — hosted by the Daily at designer Nicole Miller’s home — included Fern Mallis and socialite Debbie Bancroft.

The book, from Grove Press, will be released Aug. 6.
