‘Once Upon a Time’ actor Gabe Khouth dead at 46

“Once Upon a Time” actor Gabe Khouth died on Tuesday after an apparent cardiac arrest. He was 46.

According to his friend and fellow actor, Peter Kelamis, Khouth appeared to have suffered a cardiac arrest while riding his motorcycle and “Tragically died as a result.”

“Gabe ALWAYS put a smile on everyone’s face,” Kelamis tweeted on Friday. “My deepest condolences to his Family and friends. RIP-You kind, kind soul #Heartbroken #gonetoosoon”

Another fellow actor, Jason Burkart, who was frequently in social media photos with Khouth, shared a video of the late actor’s brother where he thanked fans for their support.

“My brother loved to ride. He loved all of you,” Sam said and welcomed fans to bring flowers or messages for Khouth the site of his brother’s crash in Canada.

The “Once Upon a Time” co-creator Adam Horowitz also shared his condolences on Twitter.

“Terribly saddened to learn of the passing of Gabe Khouth,” he wrote. “A lovely man, a great talent, and an indelible part of ‘Once Upon A Time’ since the beginning. But more importantly, he was our friend. He will be missed. RIP, Gabe.”

Khouth’s co-star on the ABC show, Lee Arenberg, added, “Devastated beyond words!!! My on-screen brother gone way too soon!! Gabe was sweet and spicy, hilarious and loveable and a pure talent… RIP.”

Khouth joined the show in its first season and appeared in 43 episodes of the series that aired for seven seasons.

He was also in “A Series of Unfortunate Events,” “iZombie,” and “Supernatural.”

A rep for the actor did not immediately respond to our request for comment.
