Taylor Swift fans rip Kamala Harris over fundraiser at Scooter Braun’s house

Hell hath no fury like the Swifties.

Democratic presidential hopeful US Sen. Kamala Harris is finding that out the hard way after attending a star-studded fundraiser at the California mansion of mega-watt music manager Scooter Braun, with whom Taylor Swift has been feuding over the fate of her master recordings.

Harris — whose husband posted a photo of her from the event beaming alongside pop triumvirate Katy Perry, Demi Lovato and Ariana Grande — has been catching flak from Swift fans disappointed that she would associate with Braun.

“I was SO excited for you as a democratic candidate, but if you so choose to go to an event held by @scooterbraun, a man whose arrogance mirrors our president’s, I can no longer hold onto my excitement and faith for you as a presidential candidate,” tweeted an account using the handle @longlivesnakeT. “#disappointed.”

Added @WaterBottle199, “If @KamalaHarris thinks this will get her votes she is delusional and @scooterbraun is a thief who uses these women to advance his bank account…”

Before the event even took place, a third user pleaded with Harris to reconsider.

“@KamalaHarris please don’t do a fundraiser with @scooterbraun you will lose a lot of votes to @ewarren [Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren] I want to support you but cannot if you associate with a bully and misogynist,” wrote @sandiegoleah. “#IStandWithTaylor @taylornation13 why don’t you reach out to her instead!”

In a lengthy post on her Tumblr page last month, Swift said she was “grossed out” that Braun is acquiring the rights to her old tunes.

Braun, who struck it big by discovering Justin Bieber, purchased Swift’s former label, Big Machine Label Group, in June and, with it, Swift’s masters.

Swift, who in the post accused Braun of “incessant, manipulative bullying” over the years, said she pleaded for a chance to own her masters, but that label honchos would only entertain the thought if she re-signed.
