Ivanka Trump gives daughter Arabella a puppy for her birthday

Winter is here.

First daughter Ivanka Trump shared a photo on Saturday of an adorable snow-white puppy she bought for daughter Arabella’s 8th birthday.

“Meet Winter, Arabella’s birthday dream come true and the newest member of the Kushner family!” Ivanka, 37, wrote on Instagram of the gift for her daughter, whose birthday was last Wednesday.

The image of the new pet, all-white and with piercing eyes, brought a flood of praise and admiration in the comments.

But it also sparked a fierce debate … over exactly what breed Winter is.

There were votes for an American Eskimo, Samoyed, and Alaskan Klee Kai, but with several breeders insisting it was a Pomsky, a cross between a Siberian Husky and a Pomeranian.

There were also some snarky political gibes among the gushing messages. “I’d put him in a cage,” nmc385 wrote in a clear attack on the supposed “kids in cages” conditions for immigrants at the border.

Ivanka’s father, President Trump, is not known as a dog lover, and broke with tradition by entering the White House without a pet.

He previously lived with a poodle, Chappy, with his first wife, Ivana, who wrote in her memoir that “Donald was not a dog fan,” according to CNN — adding that Chappy “had an equal dislike of Donald.”
