#Arivenchy has arrived.
Givenchy announced Ariana Grande as the face of its new ad campaign back in May with a “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” and Holly Golightly-themed teaser, which featured Grande wearing a little black dress and showing off her “mille tendresse” tattoo in a black-and-white shot.
The official images, however, are more in line with Grande’s current public persona. Photographed by Craig McDean wearing pieces from the fall/winter 2019 collection, Grande, 26, poses on a chair in “the tradition of portraits favored by Hubert de Givenchy, who called the style ‘the Givenchy sitting,'” according to the press release.

“In Grande, the House of Givenchy found a modern embodiment of its signature spirit: an elegant attitude informed by beauty, individuality and a sense of empowerment,” the brand said in the announcement.
Besides sporting the brand’s newest It bag, the “Eden” ($2,690), the pop star poses in a white asymmetrical top, a gray double-breasted coat with a belt bag, a pleated and printed dress with a dramatic ruffled collar, a kelly green pantsuit and an off-the-shoulder top with voluminous embroidered sleeves.
The singer has been excitedly sharing the images from her first major high-fashion campaign all week. “Honored to be your girl and wear these looooks,” she captioned the pics.
