Christy Carlson Romano reunites ‘Even Stevens’ crew for ‘We Went To The Moon’ video

Christy Carlson Romano is throwing it back to 1969.

The former Disney star, 35, rallied “Even Stevens” actors, Lauren Frost and George Anthony Bell to reenact the show’s unforgettable musical scene, “We Went To The Moon in 1969,” to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing, on her Youtube show.

In her latest episode of “Christy’s Throwback Kitchen,” Frost — who played friend Ruby on the early 2000s show — joined Romano prepared to cook space-themed food together but it didn’t take long for the show’s host, who played Ren Stevens, to break out into the memorable tune.

Joined by Bell who played Principle Wexler on the kids’ program, and a slew of dancing students, Romano’s kitchen was transformed into a classroom which eventually cut to an animated scene of the three Disney stars heading to space. The actress’ husband, Brendan Rooney, also made a cameo.

In the original episode, “Influenza: The Musical,” Ren refuses to miss a day of school despite being sick and to her dismay, she forgets about a major presentation in which she ended up improving “We Went To The Moon in 1969” in front of her class. The episode aired in 2002.

Fast forward 17 years later, the throwback video ended with Romano’s baby, Isabella, crying in the background and the actress calling on Rooney to make her coffee.

In a previous installment of “Christy’s Throwback Kitchen,” she brought in former “Kim Possible” co-star Will Friedle to recreate their characters’ favorite meals.
