Kathryn Dennis denies Thomas Ravenel’s addiction claims amid custody battle

Kathryn Dennis is adamant that she is not addicted to any of the substances that Thomas Ravenel claimed in an astonishing court filing.

Ravenel, 56, claimed that the “Southern Charm” star, 26, is “addicted to prescription medications, marijuana, alcohol, shopping and sex,” per documents obtained by the Daily Mail. He filed the paperwork in an effort to prove to a judge that he should have sole custody of their children, Kensie, 5, and Saint, 3.

But, Dennis’ lawyer told People that his allegations were false.

“For ethical reasons, I try to avoid making any statements to the press whatsoever,” Dennis’ lawyer said in a statement to the publication. “However, Kathryn obviously denies all of this and I believe that the submissions to the Court that we have made discredit such allegations.”

Their custody battle became heated after Dennis filed for full custody following Ravenel’s arrest for assault and battery against their children’s former nanny. The couple was sharing 50/50 custody when Dennis filed.

He left “Southern Charm” shortly after and later slammed it as “the worst mistake of [his] life.”

For her part, Dennis wanted their battle to be sealed.
