Blue Ivy made a scene-stealing cameo in mom Beyoncé‘s new music video for the song “Spirit,” which is featured on “The Lion King” soundtrack. In the clip, which premiered Tuesday, the 7-year-old is seen walking to the singer before taking a seat beside her, both wearing light pink ensembles.
“This soundtrack is a love letter to Africa,” Beyoncé, 37, said in an interview with ABC News. “I wanted to make sure we found the best talent from Africa, and not just use some of the sounds and did my interpretation of it.”
In addition to “Spirit,” Beyoncé, who voices lioness Nala in the Disney remake, helped curate the album, “The Lion King: The Gift,” which will drop Friday.
Beyoncé recently celebrated “The Lion King” in London on Sunday, when she got to meet Meghan Markle and Prince Harry at the film’s European premiere.
