Hailey Baldwin defends Justin Bieber, claims Tool singer acts ‘childish’

Hailey Baldwin will defend her husband to the bitter end.

When the lead singer of Tool shaded her husband Justin Bieber after the pop star declared his admiration for their work, Hailey hopped on Twitter to clap back.

On July 11, Justin, 25, posted a photo of himself in a car on his Instagram story with the lyrics to Tool’s “The Pot” — “Who are you to wave your finger? / You must have been outta your head,” he wrote on top of a photo of him sitting in a car. “Eye hold deep in muddy waters / You practically raised the dead.”

Shortly thereafter, Consequence of Sound published an article about Bieber being a fan of Tool.

However, once Tool’s lead vocalist Maynard James Keenan saw the link on Twitter, he replied, simply writing “#bummer.”

On Tuesday, Hailey fired back. “He expressed he was a fan of your music. Grew up listening to your music. You must be unhappy with yourself that you want to make people feel small who express their admiration for you,” the 22-year-old model tweeted. “Very childish and hurtful thing to do. I hope u find security within yourself. Sad place to be.”

Justin has also been getting heat lately as a result of the Taylor Swift/Scooter Braun drama. In late June he took to Instagram to apologize to Swift for any “Bad Blood” between them, but firmly supported Braun. “Scooter has had your back since the days you graciously let me open up for you!” he wrote. “So for you to take it to social media and get people to hate on scooter isn’t fair. What were you trying to accomplish by posting that blog? seems to me like it was to get sympathy u also knew that in posting that your fans would go and bully scooter.”

One thing’s for sure — Bieber is surely not “Sorry” to have his wife in his corner defending him.
